Lotshooker Proathook at Höcklenkamp Rd. (Corner Mühlenstr.)

A Proathook (literally 'talking corner') is a place where the neighbours meet and talk to each other. These places are public, everybody may sit down and rest. The word Proathook is Lower German dialect, close to the Dutch. Proat = Praat (dutch) = talk, Hook = Hoek (dutch) = corner/neighborhood/meeting place.
