Churches at Uelsen and Surroundings
Here you may get some insight into the Churches and religious communities
at our place. The region with the parish Uelsen as the central spot was
(and still is) mainly of Reformed character. In the 19th century the Alt-Reformierte
Kirche (Christian Reformed Church) came into being. By the end of the
second World War Lutherans and Catholics settled down here as well.
All information given are to the best of our's knowledge and belief,
but without responsibility. We are thankful for any broadening information
and correction. We would like to ask members (from the Uelsen area) of
religious communities not listed here to give us some kind of description
or a contact address. We will include it to this document.
